The Scathing Atheist 
Another great episode as usual, guys! I’m gong to be the pessimist here though. I’m still concerned that we are getting too excited by this victory. Seemed to me like the bigots were winning the battles, They had all the politicians and legislatures on their front lines fighting all out war, nobody was really fighting back effectively on our side, and they were only stopped by nuking them. That’s what the Supreme Court is in these things, the last resort, the only option left, the NUKE. AND, by only ONE vote was the nuke even dropped. I’m really trying not to be so pessimistic, but I do want to encourage everybody not to get too complacent, but watch for what they do next. Its like a sandbox where the popular kids won’t let the unpopular kids play, but then the unpopular kids yell and kick till the babysitter waddles over and makes the popular kids allow the unpopular kids into the sandbox. We all know what happens next. Soon as the sitter is settled back in watching netflix, the popular kids are whispering over in the corner, and next thing you know, they draw a line down the middle of the sandbox and don’t let the unpopular kids on THEIR side of the sandbox. I’m just saying, the nuke may have stopped the frontal assault, but don’t turn your backs till you see what their next moves are.
On a more serious note, my kid, ok, she is 21, and I guess an adult, but she has noticed a new local restaurant specializing in authentic Chicago Style pizza. She wants me to take her. What am I supposed to do in a situation like this? I don’t WANT to disown the kid, overall she has been ok. But, I mean, just how does one handle that kind of situation? Abortion is out of the question at this point. I’ve thought of moving out of state, of course, but I’m broke. I know you guys will have advice for me. HELP!
